The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, (JAMB) has finally concluded the centres inspection ahead of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2013/2014, on Wednesday 24th
October 2012. Following this conclusion, It has been declared that JAMB registration for 2013 is will start from next month November 2012.

An internal official reveal that there will be one, two, or more E-Examination centre(s) in each state of the Federation for candidates that may prefer Computer Based Test (CBT) as proposed by JAMB, against the conventional Pencil and Paper Test (PPT) and DBT, to know about the difference between the three options.

Research has made it clear that JAMB may be registering over 1.8 million candidates for the JAMB 2013/14, this is making the chance of gaining admission competetive. Let consider the following facts;
A total of 1,672,224 candidates wrote SSCE (figures from WAEC alone) in 2012 and Less than 30% of the 1,503,931 candidates who sat for the jamb examination in 2012 have been admitted. The stat has show that 2million prospective candidates are set to apply for Jamb this year.
