UNN STUDENTS TO SHUT INSTITUTION FOR LACK OF POWER SUPPLY


There are indications that students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka may shut down academic activities at the institution if the power outage within the university continues at the resumption of the second semester on April 23, 2012.

It was learnt that the students had to read for the just concluded first semester examinations without electricity, a situation that they said affected their preparations and could tell on their results.
According to the reporter, students who live on campus are mostly affected by the outage, unlike students who reside in Nsukka town where the supply of electricity is said to be better.
