Examinations by the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, on Monday showed that more specialists are penciled for sack.

NAN reports that the bank, in October 2014, obtained Enterprise Bank with about N56 billion ($281 million).

A top administration source in the bank, who argued namelessness, said that the sack cut over the top, middle and low cadres.

He said that the mass sack was making dread and fears among the rest of the laborers.

The source said that the rest of the specialists, particularly laborers from the previous Enterprise Bank, feared they could be sacked anytime.

He said that specialists from the previous Enterprise Bank were the most influenced in the continuous rebuilding exercise embarked on to enhance the bank's gainfulness.

The bank set out on the huge sack despite the Minister of Labor, Chris Ngige's mandate to financial institutions to stop from the sacking spree.

Fela Ibidapo, the bank's Head of Corporate Communications, be that as it may, told NAN that the figures were not right.

Mr. Ibidapo said that the mass sack was not restricted to the bank as it cut over all administrators in the industry.

There have been media reports of the bank's budgetary unsteadiness which the bank denied.
