Greenlight Planet is looking for a Brand Manager to join its Marketing team in West Africa. The Brand Manager will work closely with the Marketing Manager (Africa) to provide support to our West Africa operations across all areas of Marketing.

Job Title: Brand Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key responsibilities for the role include:
1. Brand Communication
  • Developing and executing fully integrated brand communications campaigns to support the overall brand strategy.
  • Promoting the brand and enhancing its visibility in the market.

2. Activation
  • Driving brand activation, events and sponsorships in key markets across West-Africa.
  • Leveraging on multiple marketing strategies – ATL, BTL & TTL to support the Direct EasyBuy Team and Partner Networks

3. Channel Marketing
  • Developing marketing campaigns to deliver on business objectives for channel partners.
  • Working collaboratively with diversified teams of partners to create & manage integrated marketing strategies i.e. Retail, MFI and Institutional Partners

4. Consumer Understanding
  • Generating strong consumer insights that will drive communication

5. Agency and Supplier management
  • Managing the media; activation agencies; and suppliers to deliver on the brand’s plans
  • Create innovative local media solutions to derive cost efficiencies

The ideal Brand Manager:
  • Has a Masters degree or Post Graduate qualification from a Premier institution
  • Has 3-5 years of Marketing experience in a consumer-facing role, preferably across different countries
  • Is mission-driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about making a significant difference in the world
  • Lives and works in Nigeria
  • Has experience managing advertising, media & BTL agencies
  • Has practical experience in brand management and activation campaigns.
  • Has successfully used different marketing channels to build a brand.
  • Has the desire & drive to help take a break-out start-up to the next level
  • Is fluent in English
  • Enjoys the challenge of working independently and creatively with a fast-growing global enterprise
  • Likes getting hands on and figuring out how to grow a high-potential business
  • Has strong project management skills
