Gains of The 3rd Edition HR Forum Africa Conference 2017

The 3rd Edition of the HR Forum Africa has been held at The Zone Centre, Gbagada, Lagos.
It was a knowledge sharing, team building and networking event. HR professionals from leading organisation were present and happy to dialog on employee engagement.

This year event themed "Innovate, Integrate and Motivate" was amazing like no other. The aim of this event is to bring together HR professionals to discuss on how to best practice human resource management across the continent. This event was another portrayal of the organiser's commitment to making HR Profession done professionally.

Being a pre-registered event, attendees went through a process of accreditation before being ushered to sit and treated to an enlightening and illuminating experience as speakers poured out from their wealth of wisdom, guiding the participants on the path to better practice HR.

The event kicked off with a welcome address by the anchor, Mr. Abraham Durosawo, after which a speed networking session was declared at the same time coffee refreshments was also taking place.

On resumption to the proceedings of the event, Mr. Francis Obiagozie, the chief organiser of the HR Forum Africa step on stage to shared the vision of the creative hub with the attendees.

The first session of discussion began with the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of P4Pe Institute, speaking on the topic "Employee Retention Strategies in Digital Generation". His presentation cut the attention of the attendees and delegates to know how engaged and dis-engaged employees can be. he shared light on how this can be properly done in an organisation.

Second session was led by Mr. Adesola Akinyosoye, Head HR, Nestle Nigeria Plc. He took the floor discussing on the topic "Managing Engagement in times of Change, Disruption and Economic Turbulence", focusing on employee effectiveness to maximize productivity.

The third session was taken by Ajibola Ponnle, Registrar/CEO Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), audience celebrated the highly experienced human capitalist as she step on stage speaking on the topic titled "Climate change, Leadership and Business Performance". According to her, work climate and environment matters for employee to be more productive and efficient, leaders should change their approach towards that.
