Naija Quick Fix, the communications system that links artisans and those looking to hire them, will soon launch in Nigeria according to a report from their promoters, Global Sight Services Ltd.
Additionally, the statement said that the project was being introduced by the aforementioned promoter, who are an "indigenous marketing firm working in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency".
“The programme is mainly focused on engaging the youths most of who are artisans gainfully in their various trades,” the statement said.
Managing Director at Global Sight Services, Mr. Dayo Bello, mentioned that the portal's primary goal was to facilitate the "job-quick-fix-system", and to strategically and efficiently connect potential employers to Nigerian artisans.
Bello said, “It is Information Communication Technology-driven whereby those in dire need of the services of artisans can instantly and easily connect them online without delay.”
Bello also added, “The project, which is proudly supported and endorsed by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, SMEDAN and corporate bodies such as Nigerian Breweries, Intercontinental Distillers Limited, OVH Energy Marketing and Ensure Insurance would be officially presented to the public in Lagos.”
The Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Aisha Abubakar; the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode; and the Director-General of SMEDAN, Dikko Radda, are anticipated at the coming event.
