Job Title: Partner Account Manager Lead, West Africa

Location: Lagos

Job purpose: 
A Partner Territory Manager is responsible for selling through and with partners the full line of Sage products and services to mid-market and enterprise level accounts in his assigned territory. Territory can be defined based on a geography or a vertical industry.
PTM drives sales revenue growth by building a close relationship with key players in the assigned territory; developing NCA acquisition engaging with local ecosystem, implement sales plans to penetrate the customer accounts at all levels and all subsidiaries to increase renewal rate, migration, upsell and cross sell. PTM is the trusted advisor on Sage products/solutions to meet the needs of their accounts; and maintaining an on-going territory strategy for selling Sage products. The PTM collaborates with Partner Account Managers, ISV and Alliance sales teams to support implementation of large Sage partner or ISV plans in their territory when it is relevant.

Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership
  • Meets and/or exceeds goals including, but not limited to, revenue, customer growth and sales expenses in the assigned territory
  • Responsible for driving revenue through strategic partnerships and ecosystem
  • Defines, implements and manages the plan for the assigned territory leveraging the Sage resources and Partner ecosystem. Defining the gaps in terms of Sage Partner capacity in the territory to cover the growth ambition
  • Manages forecasts, pipelines and predictability for revenue achievement.
  • Manages the entire sales life cycle of transactions to ensure visibility into and predictability of the lead-to-close process
  • Acts as a Sage representative to maintain positive relationships with all employees, customers, partners and shareholders
  • Works closely with product and professional services. Ensures and enables the highest levels of professionalism
  • Timely and positive resolution of escalated sales-related issues
  • Maintain data with high level of completeness and quality in Sage systems
  • Protect company proprietary and confidential information
  • Respect Sage Standards of Business Conduct
  • Other duties as assigned
