Job Description
West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) is one of the first green field container terminals to be built in Nigeria under public private partnership. WACT is located in Onne port (some 30kms from Port-Harcourt) in Rivers State. We have been successfully connecting East, North, West Central Nigeria and Rivers state to the world. This has been possible through top-quality services, cordial business relations with customers, regular interaction with stakeholders, human resource development, modern handling equipment and superior e-commerce capabilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage assigned customers and budget base; pursue and secure business in line with the business objectives - Prospect for new accounts or opportunities - Deliver volume targets while remaining focused on relationship with customer portfolio - Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base, probe and identify customer needs and provide solutions and actively resolve commercial disputes within set timeframes - Communicate significant trends and policies to assigned accounts, ensuring customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality - Attract and develop new customers - Successfully manage negotiation processes - Build and execute winning account strategies and maintain a strong network of customers - Thoroughly understand customer drivers, needs and requirements
We are looking for
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree holder from a reputable institution - Fluent spoken and written English - Minimum 2 years’ relevant sales experience - Strong knowledge about WACT products, terminal and liner shipping markets and industry trends - Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills - Capability to build solid rapport over the phone - Passionate, strong initiative, self-driven with commitment to succeed
